CLUB DISCOUNT

The purchase of five or more Opti's or 'Poly' dinghies attracts a 7.5% discount and trade prices on all spare parts and accessories.

‘6 for 5’ OziOpti PROGRAM

The International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA) has a program to assist development of Optimist sailing in new countries; OziOpti has introduced a similar level of support to clubs, the ‘6 for 5’ program.

When a club orders five 'Club' or 'Regatta' Optis, or encourages five families to buy an Optimist Dinghy each, OziOpti through an arrangement with its suppliers will provide a sixth boat free of charge.

The only condition is that the free boat be used to support junior sailing at the club, e.g. to buy a new safety boat, renovate the kids clubroom, build launching trolleys, team travel, etc.

First Production hits water!

The first OziOpti fleet was delivered to RQYS Manly QLD for a schools holiday sailing program in December 2005, this allowed twice as many kids to participate.

Since then OziOpti has delivered fleets to yacht clubs around Australia under the special club & school program.

Mornington Yacht Club (2006)

Mornington YC, which in recent years has suffered shrinking junior fleets, is back on track with thirty odd kids taking part in the summer program. The fleet of 10 OziOpti 'Poly' (flouro sails) resulted from local business support and the highlight of the season for these kids was competing at Melbourne’s biggest junior regatta, the Lidgett Cup at Davey’s Bay YC.

OziOpti has five non-measured / factory 2nds GRP hulls for sale as a fleet to a club looking to train in GRP boats.

They are not measured hulls and therefore cannot compete in IOD events but will suit a club looking to launch a junior class, or add to a 'Poly' fleet to bring the kids up a level and mix with the private boat owners.
